Three (3) vehicles were involved in the accident at the intersection of San Sebastian-Lacson Road, Bacolod City. The ambulance of South Bacolod General Hospital was destroyed after being hit by a Montero Sport.

The crashed ambulance also collided with a delivery van. The ambulance driver was killed and his three occupants were injured after a private vehicle collided at 1:15 pm at the intersection of San Sebastian-Lacson street in Bacolod city.

The victims were identified as Jessie James Tranilla, while Maria Cajeras, 30, nurse, Jose Francisco Sombero, 34, auxilliary. And Vicente Limaco (Patient), 78, a resident of Brgy Binicuil, Kabankalan City, were injured.

According to Station 1 commander Major Jovil Sedel, the ambulance was traveling northwards in the direction of a collision with a montero sports vehicle driven by Kenny Arillo, 21, a resident of Barangay Alijis traveling from west to east direction, possibly lost.

Arillo is currently in custody at the custodial facility of Police Station 1 and may face charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and multiple injuries and damage to property.
