Respondents of Christine Dacera Case want to have peace of mind and return to normal life.
One among the respondents of Dacera Case, Clark Rapinan expressed sentiment over the issue after the Philippine National Police (PNP) released autopsy report.
It can be remembered that the 23-year-old flight attendant is one among the group of friends celebrating the New Year’s Eve in a hotel in Makati City but she was found lifeless the following day on January 1.
During the celebration, her companions admitted that they had hard drinks in the party and they also played entertainment games.
During the party, there was another group of people from the adjacent Room 2209 from which Dacera was introduced and seen on the CCTV kept coming back to the said room.
In the morning of January 1, Rommel Galido, one of Dacera’s friends noticed her unconscious in a bathtub of the room. They immediately initiated first aid to revive her then rush her to Makati Medical Center but unfortunately the young lady was declared dead on arrival.
Authorities determined based on their initial findings that Dacera’s cause of death was ruptured aortic aneurysm but her mother Sharon and family members did not believe she died of a natural death citing bruises found in her body.
Recently, the PNP released the medico-legal report which has the same findings from the previous one. The flight attendant died of a normal cause of the death based on the medico-legal report.
After the release of the PNP report, Clark Rapinan one of the respondents, comes out again to express his feelings to have peace of mind and wanted to go back to his normal life. According to the report on ABS-CBN News, Rapinan stressed that he and his companion’s reputation has been damaged due to the incident and even their families can no longer lives as normal.
“Sobrang naapektuhan ‘yung pamilya namin, ‘yung trabaho namin. Basically ‘yung buhay namin sobrang damaged na, na hindi naming alam paano magsisimula ulit. Sobrang hirap, sana po maawa na kayo sa amin,” he said.
As of this moment, Dacera’s family is still waiting for the autopsy report done by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). They insisted that there are irregularities in the part of the PNP.
