MANILA, Philippines — Sinabi noong Sabado ng kampo ng presidential aspirant at dating senador na si Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na tumanggi siyang makapanayam ng GMA-7 na si Jessica Soho dahil naniniwala sila na siya ay “biased against the Marcoses.”

Sinabi ni Rodriguez na naniniwala ang kampo ni Marcos na ang halalan sa 2022 ay maaaring ang “pinakamahalagang halalan sa ating buhay” kung saan ang mga kandidato ay dapat asahan na maghaharap ng kanilang mga programa.

“These and other equally important aspects of an aspirant‘s preparedness to lead, ability to govern and capability to be president cannot be tested by his mere appearance on a show that has been perceived by us and our supporters as having previously displayed a preconceived judgement against the Marcoses,” sabi niya.

“We will continue with our way of communicating direct to the people in so many equally significant shows, platforms and forums where all the attendees are allowed to present their visions, plans and platforms freely, unfiltered and unhindered by any biases,” dagdag pa niya.

Nauna nang sinabi ni GMA na inimbitahan nito ang limang nangungunang kandidato sa pagkapangulo na nanguna sa mga survey bago ang halalan, at lahat maliban kay Marcos ay sumang-ayon na lumahok.

Ang iba pang nangungunang kandidato sa pagkapangulo na tumanggap ng imbitasyon ay sina Vice President Leni Robredo, Sen. Panfilo Lacson, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso at Sen. Manny Pacquiao.
