The name of vice presidential candidate Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan was not mentioned by the Unkabogable Comedian. Vice Ganda, host of It’s Showtime, is among those in attendance. Apparently, he did not endorse Pangilinan in his address at the event. Others believed that Vice Ganda may have forgotten to say Sen. Kiko’s name.
His refusal to mention Pangilinan’s name during the campaign rally received criticism.
Some people were disappointed, particularly followers of Robredo, often known as Kakampinks, since he failed to mention the name of the vice-presidential candidate.
“Marami ang nag-iintay sa endorsement niya last night. Iniwan niya si Kiko,” (“Many are waiting for his endorsement last night. He left Kiko,”) claimed one netizen.
Vice has yet to specify who he intends to pick for the position of vice president.
In Pasay City, the Leni-Kiko tandem held a grand rally.
Pangilinan is running for vice president with Vice President Leni Robredo, who is also a presidential candidate.
They will face former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist candidate Lito Atienza, Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
Aside from Vice Ganda, several well-known celebrities have endorsed Robredo’s run for the presidency, including Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta, Regine Velasquez, Piolo Pascual, Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, and Kim Chiu, to mention a few.
