Beauty Gonzalez, a Kapuso actress, claimed that her profession as an actress has an expiry date, and here’s why.
Beauty has gone a long way since she first appeared on the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2008. She officially became a Kapuso last year.
Christine Marie Gonzalez was born in Dumaguete City to Carina Luche, a Spanish-Filipina from Cebu, and Manuel Gonzalez, a Spaniard. Her father used to play professional Jai Alai in Manila. In Pamplona, Negros Oriental, he maintained coconut and sugar cane fields.
Beauty expresses her love for the succession of projects she has been working on with GMA in a recent interview, according to the article in Bandera.
Loving Ms. Bridgette was her first Kapuso project. Then she co-starred in AlterNate, a primetime series starring Dingdong Dantes. Now. The Fake Life, starring Ariel Rivera and Sid Lucero, is a new series for Beauty.
“I feel blessed I get to play good roles at iba’t iba ang napapanood ng tao na character sa akin. Dito, ako yung unfaithful wife, marupok, ako ang nagkamali. I’m also happy to work with Direk Adolf Alix again na director ko rin sa ‘Ms. Bridgette,’” Beauty stated.
Beauty praised her husband, Norman Crisologo, for his assistance during the press conference for her new series. She revealed that Norman notices how much she enjoys her entertainment job and that she has realized her ambition of being an actress.
The actress then confessed that she had issued herself an ultimatum.
“Sabi ko sa husband ko, in around six years, I promise na magre-retire na ako. When I had my daughter kasi, bumalik na ako uli agad sa work and since then, hindi na ako natigil,” Beauty stated.
Beauty also promised her daughter that she would retire when she reached her adolescent years. This is why the actress stated that she is doing her best to portray her characters so that if she decides to depart, she would leave a legacy.
