The controversy arose following Jorryme posted on social media her conversation with Shaira Mae Boyonas and Ales Vodisek, as well as photographs from her wedding.

In a Facebook post, Sasot referred to Ales, a Slovenian national, as a “red flag” as she observes their love triangle situation.
According to her, Jorryme should have done a background check on Ales before marrying him.
“If you want to verify, give us his full legal name, pa background check natin sa mga nasa Europa,” Sasot suggested.
