President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday bared the names of lawmakers included in the list made by the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission’s (PACC) of government officials allegedly involved in corruption.
“The public should be aware that there is no hard evidence, that’s one… This is not an indictment, this is not to destroy you, but be careful,” said Duterte.
“The alleged bagman is the district engineer. [Department of Public Works and Highways] Secretary Mark [Villar] issued an order for the transfer of the said district engineer but until now it has not been implemented due to the intervention of Congressman Sato,” he added Duterte.

According to House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco, it is important to be given the opportunity to hear the side of the officials involved.
Velasco believes the Ombudsman is the right person to handle the matter, especially since the PACC has limited jurisdiction.
According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, exposing the list is part of freedom of information.
A task force is still investigating the left and right allegations of corruption.
