The religious organization has endorsed Bacolod City Candidate for Mayor Albee Benitez’s campaign.
According to Digicast Negros, Iglesia ni Cristo is supporting Bacolod City mayoralty candidate Albee Benitez.
Benitez is a Filipino-American businessman and politician who has been a consultant to the Negros Occidentales provincial administration since 2019.
From 2010 until 2019, he was the representative of Negros Occidental’s 3rd district for three – year terms.
He was one of the Philippines’ wealthiest congressmen.
INC is an established Nontrinitarian Christian church formed in 1913 and recognized as a unipersonal religious organization to the United States government in the Philippines by Felix Y. Manalo in 1914.
INC claims to be the one true church and the resurrection of Jesus’ original church, claiming that all other Christian churches are apostates.
Previously, INC supported former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte’s UniTeam.

In addition to him, the religious organization supports current Congressman Greg Gasataya for Congress and current Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran for Vice Mayor.
Em Ang, Archie Baribar, Simple Distrito, Carl Lopez, Renecito Novero, Bart Orola, Kalaw Puentevella, Dindo Ramos, Cindy Rojas, Israel Salanga, Thaddy Sayson, and Jason Villarosa are also supported by INC.
