Sue Ramirez, a Kapamilya actor, revealed how she began her career in entertainment at the age of 13 years old.
According to the PEP report, it was Sue Ramirez who wanted to pursue showbiz when she was 13 years old. “April 2010 po ito. I was 13 and sabi ko sa mga sisters ko samahan ako para mag-audition. Pumunta kami sa [ABS-CBN] Audience Entrance ng 6 a.m. Hindi ko in-expect na there would be that much people,” the actress recalled.
She didn’t have a phone, no money, and she wasn’t permitted to bring a partner. It was just her and her resume. Sue stated that she did not experience hunger or discomfort while waiting for several hours because she was number 697.
Sue has had a fantastic run in the entertainment world throughout the years.
She was assigned jobs that increased her fame. Sue, like many other celebrities, went through the normal audition procedure.
Her perseverance paid off as she made her first television appearance on Shoutout, an ABS-CBN teen music variety show that aired from 2010 to 2011.
Sue felt pleased that, despite not making much money, she was able to assist her mother with their financial needs.
Her father was already sick at the time, so her mother took on the role of breadwinner. Sue considered leaving show business after her father died in 2013.
“Sabi ko sa sarili ko, kapag hindi na ako binigyan ng ABS ng project, baka mag-aral na lang ako ulit. Hindi ako nawalan ng project. Dirediretso po talaga,” the actress continued.
As a result, Sue Ramirez is grateful that she can support her family while doing what she enjoys.
