The entertainment writer became emotional when discussing the serious health status of National Artist for Film Nora Aunor.
Nora Cabaltera Villamayor is a multi-award-winning actress, music artist, and film producer.
Aunor began her career as a vocalist after winning a local talent competition. She made her cinematic start with All Over the World (1967).
She has garnered several awards from prestigious organizations like as FAMAS, Gawad Urian Awards, PMPC Star Awards, Metro Manila Film Festival, Asia Pacific Screen Awards, and Asian Film Awards, to mention a few.
Cristy Fermin claimed on her show that she couldn’t help but cry when she learnt of the actress’s health.
Nora Aunor was intended to accept her National Artist Award, unfortunately she was unable to do so due to sickness.
According to the journalist, the ‘Superstar’ had spent a long period preparing for her much-anticipated prize.
“Kaya ‘nung nalaman ko na hindi siya nakakahinga ng maayos, lagi siyang naka-oxygen, hanggang sa dalhin na sa ospital at binabantayan na, parang ang lakas-lakas ng suntok sa puso ko talaga,” she revealed.
Her children Ian, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth were among those who accepted the National Artist award on their mother’s behalf.
Lotlot, on the other hand, is the one who looks after the actress.
